Cybersecurity

We secure what we install.

A guest WiFi plugged into the same sockets as the till: most attacks succeed through the foundations. We lay those foundations, and we watch them.

What we really do

Security starts with
the link and the network.

Before protection software, there is architecture.

The link secure by design Filter Staff network Guest network Visitor WiFi never sees the till. Continuous monitoring
  • Segregation : a compromised workstation stays confined to its zone.
  • Separate guest network from the business network — the first weakness we find in the installations we take over.
  • Proactive 24/7 monitoring of your links: we see the incident, often before you call.
  • Redundancy : 4G/5G backup is part of it — it is an ingredient, not the recipe.

Remote access goes through encrypted paths (a VPN tunnel: an encoded connection, unreadable to anyone intercepting it) — never through a port left open on the Internet. Our maintenance follows the same rule.

One party accountable

The one who installs the network
is the one who watches over it.

No one can pass the fault to the next company along: there is no next company.

Understand before buying

The five functions of a defence.

No one covers them all with a box — and we do not claim to sell them all.

Govern

Who is responsible for what. It belongs to your management, not to a provider.

Identify

The inventory: equipment, access, data. You do not protect what you do not know about.

Protect

Segregating, separating uses, encrypting remote access. The heart of our work.

Detect

Our monitoring sees the infrastructure. Fine-grained detection on your workstations is a specialist’s job.

Respond

Redundancy prevents an outage. Incident response, on the other hand, is a job we do not do.

On the ground

What we install, and what we operate.

Your data

Hosted in France,
from end to end.

Knowing where your data is and who can touch it is already cybersecurity.

  • 100% of data hosted in France, with no replication to a third country
  • No offshore subcontracting, at any link in the chain
  • Strict segregation and traced named access: one client never sees another client’s data
  • GDPR (the European regulation on personal data) with no legal engineering: nothing leaves Europe

The exact wording, with no shortcuts: our services rely on ISO 27001 and HDS certified data centres located in France. Those certifications are the hosting providers’. SkyNet Business Services does not hold them in its own name, and will never claim to.

The only four figures we publish, identical across the whole site.

The scope, plainly

What we cover.
And what we are not.

Here is our exact scope, in both directions. If a provider cannot give you this table for itself, ask yourself why.

Scope in force — updated with the page, not in a brochure.

Topic Status Our position, plainly
Securing the link and the network we install Covered Segregation, separate guest network, encrypted remote access, redundancy: included in the design, not sold as an option.
Continuous monitoring of the infrastructure Covered 24/7, proactively, on the links, the network and the telephony that we operate.
Data hosted in France, GDPR Covered 100% French hosting, per-client segregation, no offshore subcontracting. The details on our trust page.
Awareness training and support Covered An inventory of what exists, architectural weaknesses pointed out, and the right questions to ask — including of other providers.
24/7 SOC (security operations centre) Not our job We monitor the infrastructure; we do not run a room of analysts watching the alerts from your systems. If your exposure warrants it, we point you towards that discipline.
Managed detection on your workstations and servers Not our offer We do not sell a managed detection platform for workstations. We would rather tell you here than at the first incident.
Certified audits and penetration tests Not a certifier We issue neither certification nor qualified audits. We prepare the ground — a documented and segregated network — with the auditor you choose.
Contractual incident response Not promised Within our scope, we know how to isolate and rebuild what we have installed. Beyond that, it is emergency work: we help you reach the specialists, we do not play their part.

Why publish the bottom column? A “yes” is only worth something next to a possible “no”. A provider that covers everything, with no limit of scope, is not describing its offer: it is describing your budget. Our way of working is set out on the method page.

We work with Accor and Logis Hôtels hotels. They trust us.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

Are you a SOC, a security operations centre?

No, and we will not write it anywhere. A SOC is a room of analysts watching the alerts from your systems. We monitor the infrastructure we install. That is a different job.

Do you carry out certified security audits?

No. We are neither a certification body nor a qualified audit firm. When your situation calls for a formal audit or a penetration test, we tell you so and point you to a specialist.

What happens if we are hit by an attack?

We do not sell an incident response service. Within the scope we operate, we know how to isolate, cut off and rebuild what we have installed. Beyond that, we help you reach the right specialists, without disappearing during the crisis.
