An ESN? In practice, what difference does it make to you?

ESN stands for “entreprise de services numériques”, a digital services company. A single team designs, installs and monitors your link, your telephony, your network and your website — and answers to you for it.

The word, first

Everything you manage
on the fingers of one hand.

“Single point of contact” is a promise everyone writes. We prefer to count — not our staff, but what you have to manage.

An outage no longer travels through several companies before it is understood: the diagnosis starts in the first minute, not at the third chase-up.

The one-stop shop

Four disciplines.
A single point of contact.

Kept apart, each of these four disciplines stops at its own boundary. Brought together, each makes the other three better.

Our history, verifiable

Founded in 2022.
And we write it down.

A young company, people who are not

SkyNet Business Services was founded on 9 September 2022. The fifteen years in the trade are not the company’s: they are those of the people who design and monitor your installations — and that is precisely what you are buying. There are now more than fifty of them.

The operator proof

We operate.
We do not resell.

A conventional ESN buys the link from an operator and passes the cost on to you. We are also the operator, under our own Arcep identifier: SKBS. When the link has a problem, you speak to the operator — not to an intermediary who “escalates it to the supplier”.

On the mobile side, we are an MVNO operator — we carry our own plans on a host operator’s network, instead of reselling theirs. In practice: we decide the allowances, the options and the rules, and we are the ones you call.

Our ground

Rouen, and proud of it,
Normandy as our ground.

Our registered office is not a mail-forwarding address in a Paris business district: it is 7 bis rue Jeanne d’Arc, in Rouen.

A network is understood on site: the comms room, the old building that blocks WiFi. We come and see your premises before proposing anything. Our telecoms services, for their part, work everywhere in France.

It is for this field — hotels, SMEs, multi-site retailers — that we designed TellMiz, our in-room app for hospitality.

We work with Accor and Logis Hôtels hotels. They trust us.

The right question

How many people know
your account?

An impressive headcount says nothing about what happens to you the day your link goes down. With us, the person who designs your installation is the person who monitors it — and the person who answers the phone. Your account is not rediscovered at every call, and no anonymous call centre sits between you and the engineers. Being more than fifty makes it possible to hold an on-call rota without resting a client on one person alone.

The scope, honestly

What we are.
And what we are not.

What you will find with us

  • An operator registered under its own Arcep identifier: SKBS
  • An integrator that installs, configures and monitors what it sells
  • A publisher: TellMiz is designed by SkyNet, the proof that we build
  • Commitments written into the contract, not into a brochure

What you will not find with us

  • Placing staff with you on a time-and-materials basis — we answer for a scope, not for a pair of hands
  • An offshored call centre — no offshore subcontracting
  • Certifications we do not hold — our services rely on ISO 27001 and HDS certified data centres located in France, and those certifications are the hosting providers’
  • Made-up client counters or satisfaction rates

What is in place — and what is not yet — is published on Trust & compliance.

On the ground

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

SkyNet was founded in 2022. Is that a problem?

The company is young, and we write it down: it can be checked in thirty seconds on the public registers. The people, for their part, have been doing this job for more than fifteen years, and there are now more than fifty of them. You are not entrusting your installation to an incorporation date: you are entrusting it to people.

How many of you are there?

More than fifty experts: enough to cover our four disciplines and absorb a multi-site estate without resting a client on one person alone. On your account, you always speak to the same people: those who designed it monitor it, and they are the ones who answer the phone.

What is the Arcep operator identifier SKBS?

Arcep regulates telecoms in France. We operate there as an electronic communications operator, under our own identifier: SKBS. It is an identifier, not a quality label: it proves that we operate telecoms services in our own name, instead of reselling someone else’s.

Do you place developers with your clients, as other ESNs do?

No. We do not supply staff. We take charge of a scope — the link, the telephony, the network, security, an AI agent, a website — and we answer to you for it.

Four providers,
nobody accountable.

This page tells you why we bring four disciplines together. The article starts from the other end: the Friday when the line goes down and everyone blames the next company along. It ends with the five questions to ask before signing — including of us.
