Trust & compliance

Where your data goes, who has access to it, and what we do not yet know how to do. The three answers are here — starting with the most uncomfortable.

  • Data hosted in France
  • Continuous monitoring
  • Arcep operator identifier: SKBS

The admission, first

What is not yet in place

Nobody likes to open their trust page with this list. That is precisely what makes the rest credible.

Limits owned up to — status as at the last update of this page.

Topic Status Our position, plainly
ISO 27001 certification in SkyNet’s name Not in place We do not hold that certification. It is the data centres we use that are certified. We will never let anyone believe otherwise.
HDS certification in SkyNet’s name Not in place Same rule: the health data hosting certification belongs to the hosting providers. If your project involves health data, we will tell you exactly who carries which responsibility.
Security operations centre (SOC) and monitoring of advanced antivirus software (EDR) Not in place Our cybersecurity division protects the link, the network and access. We do not run a continuously staffed security monitoring centre, we do not administer the advanced antivirus software on your workstations, and we make no incident response commitment. If your project calls for it, we tell you so before selling you anything.
Client results on AI agents Not published This is our youngest division. On this site you will find only what we build and how we start, as scenarios we own up to: no quantified gains, no case studies, until we have a delivery to show and the written agreement of the client concerned.
Online client area Not open It does not exist today. So you will find no “log in” button on this site. Your requests go through the telephone and through the contact form.
Client satisfaction rate Not published We do not yet have enough measurement history to publish an honest figure. We would rather show nothing than an invented percentage.
Number of clients and volume of call-outs Not published No counters on this site. Those figures are too easily inflated to mean anything at all.
Average sales response time Not published We answer quickly, but we have not measured it over a long enough period to turn it into a quantified commitment.
Client names and logos Not published We publish no establishment name and no logo without the written agreement of the client concerned. It is for them to decide whether to say it, not for us.
Sales reception 24 hours a day Not announced Monitoring of the infrastructure, for its part, is continuous. But a commercial reception desk reachable around the clock is not a commitment we make.
Age of the company Recent SkyNet Business Services was founded on 9 September 2022. What is long-standing is the people: our experts have more than fifteen years in telecoms and networks behind them.

The pivot

You know what is missing.
Here is what does exist.

A list of commitments only becomes credible next to what is not committed to. What we do not measure, we do not display.

The commitments

What is in place

Every line here can be held against the contract. Nothing here is a plan or an intention.

Commitments in force. A line that moves from the limits to this table changes place here — not in a brochure.

Commitment Status What that means for you
No offshore subcontracting In place The person working on your account works in France. No part of the operation is entrusted outside the country.
Data hosted in France In place 100% of the data stays on French soil. No copy “for backup” in a third country.
ISO 27001 and HDS certified data centres In place Our services rely on ISO 27001 and HDS certified data centres located in France. Those certifications belong to the hosting providers — see the table of limits.
Traffic carried on our backbone In place Your traffic travels over our backbone — the long-distance network that links our points of presence — that is 10 000 km of optical fibre deployed in France.
Redundancy with no single point of failure In place No piece of equipment, no path is left alone to carry the service.
Continuous monitoring from France In place The network is watched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from monitoring centres located in France.
Engineering and operations kept in-house In place The people who design the network are the people who run it.
Data segregated by client In place Your data is isolated from that of other clients, never placed in a shared space.
GDPR compliance with no legal engineering In place No dependency outside Europe in the processing chain: no international transfer to frame.
Restoration time written into the contract In place The commitment to restore service appears in the contract, with its counterpart. It is not left to our discretion.
Guaranteed reversibility In place Your numbers follow you: if you leave, we do not slow down the porting, and your data is returned to you.
Arcep operator identifier: SKBS In place We operate as an electronic communications operator under the identifier SKBS. It is an identifier, not a quality label.

What we say about our clients — without naming a single establishment, without displaying a single logo:

We work with Accor and Logis Hôtels hotels. They trust us.

Arcep does not certify, label or recommend any operator: an identifier is not a quality label. If you read otherwise somewhere, take the time to check.

Your data

They do not leave
French soil.

  • Named, traced access, limited to the people who need it
  • Defined retention periods, and deletion at the end of the contract

The exact wording, with no shortcuts: our services rely on ISO 27001 and HDS certified data centres located in France. Those certifications are the hosting providers’. SkyNet Business Services does not hold them in its own name, and will never claim to.

The one point on this page that you can measure yourself: count your telecoms and IT contracts today, then count them again in a year. On the day of an outage, the question “whose fault is it” no longer has any object.

The practical consequence

Three questions to put to any provider

“Who answers when I call?” A shared call centre, an answering machine, or someone who knows your installation?

“Can this person act, or do they open a ticket?” Answering the phone is not resolving.

“How many companies work on my installation?” Each extra company is a boundary where responsibility gets lost.
