Nine times out of ten, the problem is not the link: it is between the socket and the user.

Too many devices, not enough access points

An access point only talks to one device at a time. Past a certain threshold, video calls freeze.

Access points that interfere with each other

Two neighbouring access points on the same channel do not add up: they jam each other.

Recent access points, entry-level switch, fifteen-year-old cabling: the chain is worth its weakest link.

A very fast link that passes through saturated access points and ageing cabling gives a slow experience. The bottleneck is almost always inside the building — and that is where we work.

A network is designed in layers. It is that assembly we sell, not product references.

  • The access points. Number and placement taken from a study on the floor plan.
  • The switches. Traffic priorities and power over the network cable (PoE): a single cable per access point.
  • The controller. A single policy for the whole estate, updates at night.
  • Segregation. Sealed networks on a single cabling system.

The principle is counter-intuitive: you reduce the power of each access point in order to multiply their number.

A single cabling system carries sealed networks: guests, workstations, telephony, CCTV, connected devices. Each has its own rules.

Everything that comes in and goes out passes first through a local network and through a link: an operator’s ground, not a software vendor’s. Beyond that, it is our division cybersecurity — whose exact scope we write down, including what we do not do.

Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often

How many WiFi access points do my premises need?

Not by floor area: by the number of devices connected at the same time, the materials in the walls and the uses. Two 300 m² floors may require three access points or twelve.

My WiFi crawls even though my fibre is fast. Why?

The link brings the speed as far as the door; the local network distributes it inside. Increasing the subscription’s speed never fixes a bottleneck inside the building.

Can I keep my current equipment?

Often in part. The audit distinguishes what remains usable, what becomes a weak point and what has to be replaced.

Can WiFi carry telephony?

Yes, if the network is designed for it: a dedicated segment, traffic priorities, roaming with no drop-out. Otherwise the call breaks up as soon as you start walking.

Do you work across several sites?

Yes. The same rules everywhere from a single controller, the same network names, centralised monitoring. A member of staff moving around reconnects without typing anything.
